I am in complete agreement. We are called to pray for our leaders. I will do that. Ultimately, man will fail us (no matter who the winner is/was) but God is still the One and Only who truly has the power. Reba's last blog post..Politickin'

God is on His throne and is and always will be sovereign in the affairs of men.
Good to know and more difficult at times to remember.

Yes, we definatly need to be praying for our leaders and especially Barack Obama and Joe Biden. I think this election was definatly historic in many ways. I really believe that it has defiantly changed racism in American. I think it is great that whites, blacks, hispanics, asians, and other races have come together to elect our first african american. I believe now that there is no excuse for blaming failure on race. Any race can become anything it wants to become. Obama prove that to us all. It is grea to see Martin Luther Kings dream to become a reality. I pray for this new leadership, I pray for those in authority, I pray for our nation over the next four years, I pray for those who supported McCain that they will come together with all Americans, I pray for continued healing among races. God is so good. It is so wonderful to see that God still works and He never changes. God is always there for us no matter how we feel, no matter how busy we are and where we go. God is always God. I know in my life I have never seen the righteous forsaken as David mentions in the Psalms. Thanks for this great post .
