People would rather use their brain than trust the Holy Spirit.  It&#039;s easier.  It also keeps control where we like it:  with me.  I should have noted this Boo post in my Halloween post!

		<description>i said something along these lines in my theology class recently. we were talking about special revelation. i wondered why people were so dead agains tthe idea of God interacting with us in other ways than just the bible, ways that even the bible mentions. i was quickly labeled a heretic and false prophet and it was explained to me that i would be stoned if i were to give a false prophecy according to OT law and i was also asked what God&#039;s voice sounded like. remind me never to bring that up again. nice post.
