You Just Don’t Find This in England or the Philippines

img_3586.JPGIn case you can’t read the sign, that is Acambaro, a fantastic and authentic Mexican restaurant on College Avenue in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

img_3587.JPGThat’s my pa in the back, getting ready to treat us to our first real Mexican food in nearly six months!

img_3588.JPGEating Mexican in the States is always a treat when you come in really hungry, because they always rush out as soon as you sit down with a huge bowl of chips and salsa!

img_3590.JPGI thought to myself, as they set these glasses in front of me, that it is no wonder we Americans struggle with weight gain. I hadn’t seen a glass that big and that filled with a sugary Coca Cola since we left America. And then, we still had our plates of food coming. I thought, well, I only ordered the $3.99 lunch special - it shouldn’t be too big…img_3591.JPG

but that would be a days’ worth of food in the Philippines… burp. Eat your heart out, English friends. :)
