Remembering

ph-sm-feetwashing.JPGIt is difficult to see what is happening in this picture, but it was taken when we had about five stations set up to wash feet at the settlements on the garbage dump. We are actually in an alley next to the church that has been planted in the dump (Smokey Mountain). We were so blessed to take part in this. If you look carefully you will find all of the Rileys. Tanner brought new flip flops to clean feet, Tara and I both washed feet, and Keaton and Regan cheered us all on.

ph-reid-guitar.JPGReid McCarty, leading worship. What a blessing he was to us.

Looking at these pictures make me feel better about your loss of all those others. They are great, especially the first one, including all of you and being involved. PTL! Bonnie

Tara, you don’t remember footwashing at our church growing up but it was such a privilege. It meant you were mature enough to become a servant to your family in Christ. I know hearts were blessed in that alley. What a wonderful summer journey. You’ve taken us with you.

It’s so fun to see comments from family. Thank you guys! Yes, God is infinitely faithful and we rejoice in that. See you soon!
