Photos of the Philippines

img_1281.JPGRogelio, our pastor to be at Balacanas. The second time we went back they had added a bench under the Mango tree and had everyone but the men repairing a house ready to hear from God’s word.

img_1333.JPGYou just never know what you will find when going house to house in one of the Filipino barangays, even ones that appear to be impoverished. They love sport!

img_1294.JPGWhere the kids slept while we were in Iligan!

img_1334.JPGAgain, you just never know what you might end up doing in the course of ministry! We actually had six people and a driver being pulled by this unfortunate horse (which looked more like a pony). I was the last one on and I just knew as I stepped on the horse was going to end up in the air.

img_3366.JPGToo cute.

img_1348.JPGJayson entertaining about 1000 school children with the “Smile Skit.”

img_1379.JPGMeet Norlyn Grace and James, two of our translators. This was Grace’s 18th birthday and it is tradition that 18 men with roses dance with the 18 year old. We didn’t have roses, but we presented plumerias and all danced. Grace stands only about 3 inches taller than Tanner!

img_1375.JPGHere we are with many of the people from Iligan who helped make our ministry possible there! What a blessing they were. They threw this celebration for us on our last night there.
