You Just Never Know What a Spot of Tea Will Do For You

*WARNING **ADVISORY** THIS IS NOT MY USUAL POST** PLEASE DO NOT BE EASILY OFFENDED ** READING AND VIEWING MAY (HOPEFULLY WILL) BRING OUT LAUGHTER **

We recently took our small group to a lovely tea garden about five miles from The King’s Lodge. The Americans all found it amusing that we were greeted by this sign as we walked in.

Once we walked in to the shop to place our order, we weren’t sure if we had discovered the reason why such a sign was necessary….

But you just never know what a spot of tea will do for you when you are in England.

My good friend, Mike Roberts’, reaction to these photos was this:

“I think I will stick to one of the choices at the top.”

My reaction? “If it’s chocolate, given these choices, bring it on.”

LOL – Yes, you got a chuckle from me. Did you enjoy tea garden and follow the dress code? ;)

I wasn’t sure I should post those pics. :)

I have a great response, but, I’m a Christian, so I’ll keep the mouth SHUT! :)

Not at all offended, and it did make me smile. I wonder if our British friends just roll their eyes at all of the stares, giggles, and whispered comments over some baked pudding!

It also looks like it’s microwavable.
Check it out – it’s in a can!

That’s classic, Jerald. I should have done that, but I’m glad you did. Yes, sometimes we chuckle and feel quite lost in a British grocery.

Mary, they definitely think we are quite funny at times. We also use some words and names that they get quite tickled at because of the meaning they attach to the words/names.

Marie, LOL.
